Zen Summer Camp Activities in Ottawa

Campers attend four martial arts classes a week.  We teach karate and brazilian Jiu-jitsu techniques to the kids.  Camp is a great way to try martial arts for the first time.

Campers visit the General Burns Outdoor Public Pool three times a week.  Lots of sun and water so everyone can have fun with their friends all afternoon.

Every week we have a different field trip.  We walk or use OC Transpo to get around.  We go berry picking, mini putting, bowling, visit the Experimental Farm, the The Canadian Museum of History and an Imax movie!

And, finally Zen summer camp activities in Ottawa include lots of time outdoors.  When we are outside we play man hunt, capture the flag, FIFA soccer, and soccer baseball.  We have a scavenger hunt, a big water gun mania afternoon and our Zen olympic games. 

There's so much to do!  We love to paint our windows, our team posters our cature the flag banners,our pottery at Color Me Mine and our faces.  We play indoor games, Giant Team Twister,  ballon games and so much more...

We have two pizza lunches supplied by Colonnade Pizza over the 4 weeks that camp runs and we drop into Dairy Queen once each week for a cool treat.  A big hit with all the campers!
