SUMMER CAMP POSITIONS

As an Assistant Camp Counselor at our summer camp, you’ll work closely with a Lead Camp Counselor to support one of the Houses. You’ll assist in supervising campers, organizing engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and positive environment. This role offers fantastic volunteer opportunities for high school students looking to earn volunteer hours toward graduation, build valuable leadership and teamwork skills, and enjoy a fun-filled summer outdoors.

As an Assistant Camp Counselor, you'll assist with daily activities, games, and workshops at our summer camp. You'll provide support to campers during transitions, meals, and breaks, helping to create a fun, inclusive, and safe environment. By modeling respectful behavior and aiding in the resolution of minor conflicts, you'll work collaboratively with Camp Counselors and fellow assistants. Additionally, you'll participate in end-of-day clean-up and prepare for the next day's volunteer opportunities.

Friendly and positive attitude with a genuine desire to help children as an Assistant Camp Counselor at summer camp. Responsible and punctual, with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Comfortable engaging with children aged 5½ to 13, and previous experience working with kids—such as babysitting or tutoring—can enhance your volunteer opportunities. While CPR/First Aid certification is helpful, it is not required. Candidates must be able to commit to at least one full week of camp.
